Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What wheelchairs can the F55 attach to?
A: The F55 can attach to most manual-folding and rigid wheelchairs. However, certain requirements need to be met to safely attach the product so always consult SCOOT to make sure this is the right option for you.
Q: How can I transport the F55 in a car?
A: The F55 features a flip-up subframe that can be quickly minimised. Just flip the frame and insert the steering tube for easy storage. The subframe and battery can also be fully detached if needed.
Q: How fast can I go with the F55?
A: Its maximum forward speed is 6 kph, with optional settings of 10 kph or 15 kph. Speeds above 6 kph are allowed on public roads only in specific countries and must have prior approval. Without this approval, the F55 cannot be driven at speeds >6 kph on public roads, bike lanes, or pavements. Always check country-specific laws and ensure proper insurance for higher speed settings before travelling.
